In 2013 I started to seriously work on an idea for a concept album that had been dormant for a long time. Existing song fragments were worked out and completely new music was composed. While the drums were recorded in an external recording studio, I set up my own studio. The learning and recording process took several years. It was a time consuming, but satisfying experience to produce my own songs. Additionally, I created the artwork for the booklet and learned some new techniques drawing manually and coloring digitally. The production of the album finished in 2020, but a certain pandemic got in the way, and it took another four years until it got released on Skytree Records. I hope you will enjoy the work I created.
